Racism and Violence Erupt After Tim Hortons Altercation

75-Year-Old Black Woman Dead After Violent Altercation With White Teen Employee At Tim Hortons — Racists Online Label Her A disturbing incident at a Fort Wayne, Indiana Tim Hortons has sparked outrage and racism after a 75-year-old Black woman died following a physical altercation with employees. The case highlights the deep-seated issues of racial bias and violence that plague our society.

Incident Details
On May 13, Anita Grayson, a 75-year-old Black woman, entered a Tim Hortons in Fort Wayne to complain about her drive-thru order. The police claim she began arguing and 'berating' a 17-year-old employee, who appeared to lightly shove her. Grayson then struck the teen in the face, prompting them to beat on her until she fell to the ground.

Racist Responses
The incident has sparked a wave of racist responses online, with some individuals labeling Grayson as 'ghetto' and worse. The lack of empathy and understanding displayed by these individuals is staggering, particularly given that video footage shows both Grayson and the teen displaying aggressive behavior.

Investigation and Aftermath
The Fort Wayne Police Department has released a statement clarifying the events leading up to Grayson's death. The Allen County Prosecutor is reviewing the case, and no cause of death has been determined as yet. Tim Hortons corporate office has also issued a statement, stating that the store where the incident occurred will reopen eventually.

Civil Rights Attorney Retained
Ben Crump, a renowned civil rights attorney, has announced that he has been retained by Grayson's family. Crump stated that the family is seeking clear, complete, and timely answers about how Grayson's visit to the coffee shop ended in tragedy.

The incident at Tim Hortons serves as a stark reminder of the deep-seated issues of racial bias and violence that plague our society. It is essential for us to come together and demand justice, empathy, and understanding for all individuals, regardless of their background or circumstances.
