Some of us know what it feels like to be shut out — to try again and again for opportunities, for funding, for growth, only to find doors closed. It hurts even more when systems make us doubt ourselves or turn us against one another isntead of building one another .
But hear this:
Black people, stand tall.
Your power has never come from any institution — it comes from within you.
From your mind.
Your resilience.
Your creativity.
Your ability to rise even when the world expects you to fall.
I’ve tried to build, I’ve tried to access support, and when it didn’t work, I learned one truth:
The stream may not be built for people like me — but I will build my own.
Keep standing.
Keep building.
Keep believing in the strength that lives in you.
